    Hi all,

If a learner has a degree, can they apply for a 24+ loan? I have read through the Funding Rules and there is no indications anywhere.

Also, I am still awaiting for my login details for the Learning Provider Portal, can anyone advise me as to how I can obtain this? We have just received our loans facility letter issued to us last month.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Benn

There are very limited restrictions on who can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan. Having a degree is NOT a restriction (which is why you can’t find it in the Rules I think?), although owing Student Loans Company money from old mortgage-style HE loans can cause problems.

    Loads of good information here:

    http://www.practitioners.slc.co.uk/further-education

in the resources section. Everyone I’ve dealt with at SLC has been very helpful, depending where you are in the country will depend which account manager you’ll have, details here:

    http://lpservices.slc.co.uk/contact-information/fe-loans-partner-services-management-team.aspx

they’ll be able to sort you out with your log-in, I’m sure.
