If a learner wants to do a Level 2 Apprenticeship from the 1 August 2013 and they are aged over 24 – what is the criteria for them being able to do a level 2? Does it have to be their first level 2? i.e currently in 12/13 we can support a repeat level Apprenticeship with a Rationale stating that it is a new job role, etc – will this still be the case from 1st August? Does it matter if they have Prior Attainment Level 2 due to 5 GCSE’s or more at grade C or above?

    Hi Becky,
I have seen nothing to suggest that is the case, why are you asking the question?

My understanding is that a 24+ learner would be co-funded on any Level 2 Apprenticeship.
