    Hi,

We have an unemployed learner enrolled onto a L1 certificate in Construction. The start date of the course is 18/01/19 but the first payment of their Universal Credit claim won’t be received till 29/01/19, the course is due to finish in February. Does this mean we can only claim co-funding for this learner?

Thank you in advance for any help on the matter.

    Regards

It’s the date from when UC applies from that is the key date (not the date of the first payment, as that may be much later!).

But if the UC applies from date is still after the aim start date, then yes, co funded.
