    Hi, does anyone know where I can find information on how often we have to carry out progress reviews for apprentices. I thought it was still every 12 weeks but someone has told me that it has changed.

    Hi Jackie,

    The only requirement I could find in the current guidance was for claiming ALS/ASN for Apprentices where reviews must be a minimum of once every 12 weeks.

    It has been found that regular reviews avoid backdating of claims for learners if they leave and that they are a necessary part of the evidence requirement for confirming learners are still in learning, plus regular reviews produce better achievement results.

    We aim for every 4 weeks in the first 3 months and then a minimum of 12 weeks thereafter.

    There is no longer a specific funding requirement to complete reviews. Every provider needs to establish their own delivery processes and how they record the learning.
