We have a learner who temporary withdrew from her apprenticeship on maternity leave, since her return in March she is struggling to pick up on her work and will not complete her apprenticeship by the end date of 31 August 2020. We would like put her back a year on the same framework qualification.
The learner started in 2016 on a 4 year apprentices, the learners funding is pre levy, the qualification certification dates are still valid but I am not sure if I am able to restart an apprentice on a framework qualification and continue funding? For the ILR Would I set a new programme aim and component learning aims to capture the new start/end dates?

    Many thanks

    Martin West

You cannot amend the planned end date on the ILR as this cannot be changed, you should note any change on the commitment statement if you whish to defer or repeat a year of training.
