We are having to change our FS provider to one that offers remote invigilation. Obviously this is going to affect the learning aims on ILR – is this something that needs to be done for R14?

On the one hand we need to write the aims back to the original start date and create new records on the new aims; on the other we haven’t started learning yet on the new aims (registration still going through) so would it be a 20/21 change?

Obviously this is funding-neutral but we want the submission for R14 to be as accurate as possible. Is anyone else in a similar position and, if so, what approach did they take?

We have hundreds of FS lines so it would be difficult (although not impossible) to get these moved across in good time.

Also, would we need to discount the new aims or would it calculate automatically?

When you know the date of the start of the new aim in 20/21 then do it as a transfer from the previous aim.
You would use the funding adjustment on Maths and English aims.

So do it as a transfer to a new aim rather than close it off as an incorrect aim? That’s much simpler, thank you.
And yes, we’ll do the adjustment. Thanks again.
