We are looking at implementing digital paperwork for our Apprenticeship provision and I have a number of questions relating to the employer contracts.
Can these be completed using digital signatures?
Can the small employer/co-investment waiver also be completed using digital signatures?
On a side note if you have agreed a negotiated price per learner for a cohort of learners and the employer has signed the contract for this, but subsequently some of the cohort do not start, does the employer have to complete a new contract for the correct number of learners?
Digital signatures can be used however i would advise obtaining approval from your ESFA relationship manager (if you have one). As the rules tend to be a bit “grey” on digital solutions we look to get most things approved to ensure minimal risk when we are inspected.
