We have a learner on appearing on our Data Match report with the Error “DLOCK_9 The start date for this negotiated price is before the corresponding price start date in the employer digital account”.
The employer was struggling to access their digital account so when they eventually did they added the learner but they could only select the start date of today and not last month which was when the learner actually started.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we resolve this?
You will have to start them from the DAS reservation date as this cannot be backdated on DAS, on the Apprenticeship Agreement you put the start date they started the Apprenticeship with the employer as last month and the start of the practical period as this month to match the ILR.
You also have to think about whether you’re going to extend the planned end date to keep the same duration and OTJ. If you don’t extend the PED, the OTJ will probably change. Any OTJ activity done before the new practical period start date can’t be counted. All your paperwork that mentioned the Oct start date will need updating. We’ve asked for new learning agreements with the new dates. It’s a bit of an undertaking.
