Hi, can I ask, do you provide actual certificates to learners & apprentices?

OR do you provide E-Certificates by sending them a link & asking them to download them themselves

Is it an ESFA requirement that learners/apprentices have to receive an actual certificate?

Obviously for evidence requirements the ESFA will want to see a copy of the actual certificate we will have but was wondering about what you actually give or send to your learners/apprentices

    Thanks in advance

We take a copy to retain for our evidence and give the learner the originals
We sometimes use e-certificates to make additional claims whilst waiting for the originals, but always track this to ensure originals are recieved

Thanks Kate, do you know if its an ESFA requirement that learners MUST receive an original

With modern technology nowadays you would think an E-Certificate would be more appropriate
