    Afternoon everyone,

I have a quick question about the EAS claim. I haven’t found any guidance satisfactory in clarifying this one to me.

Is the intention that providers will use the EAS to remove claimed funds where the £150 is more than enough to cover costs for some learners?

For example, you have 2 learners that you claim £300 ALS each through the ILR. learner A’s costs are 400, Learner B’s are 200. Should you not claim for the additional £100 through the EAS for learner A as you have received enough to cover this additional cost through regular ALS funding?

    Thanks,

    Andy
