We have a learner who has relaxation for Maths and English Level 1 on the level 2 Apprenticeship. However, because of this quite simply ridiculous rule where they have to sit the Level 2 to stretch and challenge we have an issue. The learner has moved up to Yorkshire due to family circumstances and we are down in Kent so cannot do the exam with her.
Could we say that due to family circumstances and being forced to move this would be exemption from sitting the level 2?
The requirement was known and she L2 FS should have been started at the start, there is a question to if the learner is still employed under their Apprenticeship Agreement with the employer if they have moved from Kent to Yorkshire. There are no exemptions that can be applied.
