    Hi Jane,
    Planned learning hours
Total planned timetabled hours for learning activities for the teaching year
Collected at the learner level for:
    Community Learning (FundModel 10)
    16-19 excluding Apprenticeships (FundModel 25)
    Adult Skills (FundModel 35)
    Non-funded (FundModel 99)
    Other Adult (FundModel 81)
T Level transition programme (FundModel 25, ProgType 30)

    Additional Delivery Hours
The number of additional guided learning hours required for the learning aim
Collected at the aim level for:
    Aim Type 4
    Adult Skills (FundModel 35)
    ESF (FundModel 70)
    Other Adult (FundModel 81)
This field should only be used to record additional guided learning hours that have been delivered for ESOL units or qualifications where a learner needs additional learning to that funded through the Adult Skills funding model or ESF funding model.

Actual Hours for Off the Job Training
This field collects the total Actual off-the-job training hours (as defined in the funding rules) that is delivered to the individual apprentice over the practical period of the apprenticeship (before gateway). This should be entered at the end of the apprenticeship programme.
Collected at the aim level for:
    Aim Type 1
    Apprenticeships (FundModel 36)

Hold on a sec Martin, Planned Hours is the programme level field where we record Planned OTJ, Planned *Learning* Hours is the learner level field for classroom!

Planned Hours is where we record planned OTJ for anyone starting or restarting after 1 August 2019
Additional delivery hours is NEVER used for Apps, only for classroom ESOL
Actual OTJ hours is where we record the actual OTJ delivered for COMPLETERS ONLY (not w/ds or breaks), and ONLY completers who have a value in Planned Hours!

Jane did not specify the FM so included the definitions from the ILR Specification but yes failed to include Planned hours – PHours.

    Hi Thanks

    The FM is 36

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that hours (not sure of which type) are to be recorded for the claim period, ie R02 would be hours delivered/ojt for Sept etc ??

Would you know if this was the case

    Thank you

They *briefly* attempted to do that three years ago, everyone ignored it because it was a ridiculous request!

Recording Actual at the end is the compromise we’ve ended up with.
