Has anyone out there got a handle on how long it is taking to upload an A file to the portal?
I have heard it can be up to 6 hours!
Has anyone done one very recently?cripes! that seems unusual to say the least Neil.
I uploaded my 25Mb, 8000 learner, 12000 aim file last night in about a minute? certainly no more than that…
I’m in a college, so on quite a big internet pipe, but unless you’re using dial-up i wouldn’t expect it to take anything like that long…
Are you zipping the file?
Mine (not sure of the size but circa 900 apprentices) takes less than a minute. Are you meaning for you to receive the reports back? Mine’s normally generated in less than an hour.
We have just started uploading a new file, 53MB in size – not zipped.
Perhaps my team were just being over cautious!!

No idea how long it took but it was less than an hour.

AnonymousWe always send a zipped file and it takes no more than a minute. I have been very impressed with the turnaround once submitted. The last file was processed no more than 15 minutes after uploading, at what must be a very busy time.
