    Hi,

Can anyone please let me know what do I need to do here, what criteria /evidence do I need for the following learner:

I have a learner who lives in Northern Ireland, but the employer is based in the UK.

If the learner eligible for funding, what do I need to ask from the employer/provider?

    Thank you

The key issue is contracted place of work: if they are contracted to work more than 51% of their time in England they are eligible. The employer should have confirmed this is the case as part of the initial sign up (on the apprenticeship agreement eligibility form or failing that separately), and the provider should hold that confirmation. The employer may be asked to demonstrate the contractual term.
