  • Hi,
we have our first non levy apprentice and are unsure how to record the finance on our MIS as the employer is paying us a 5% contribution.
For levy apprentices we would usually record the charge for Apprenticeship training (TNP1) and Charge for apprenticeship assessment (TNP2).
Do we do the same for non levy and do we have to record the 5% amount anywhere or deduct this from the total agreed price?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks

    Ruth CJ

The TNP data is exactly the same, still the full agreed price. You don’t record the 5% anywhere that would go in the ILR, ESFA work it out based on your TNP values.

We record the 5% fee in our MIS system for our own purposes, so that Finance know who to invoice for how much, and we can chase up who hasn’t paid.

    That’s great, thank you Ruth.
