Could someone please clarify the need for apprentice training to be delivered on site, or can their training be delivered 100% remotely? I can see that you can use a range of digital remote training / e-learning but I was under the impression you still need to physically meet an apprentice as part of their training process, typically every 4-6 weeks?

I ask as we have received interest in apprenticehsip training from companies based a long way away from us and our training centre and we are concious of distance and travel times.

You cannot include training costs where:
P105.6 Off-the-job training delivered only by self-directed distance learning.
    You can for:
P101.1.2 Self-directed distance learning (where it forms only part of the learning experience), interactive online learning (virtual classrooms) or blended learning relating to the off-the-job training element of an apprenticeship (see paragraph P105.6).
