We have a learner from Bulgaria, who states that they have 2 years of a degree (3rd year not completed) and qualifications from Bulgaria that equate to A-Levels. No proof of either has been produced, and he had no PLR.

We marked him on the ILR as “Qualifications not known”, and he was assessed prior to starting by our Internal Recruitment team, who identified him as requiring an Apprenticeship. He has come up on our PDSAT reporting as he has been marked as “Qualifications not known”.

I felt like we’d followed the correct process here, and I don’t know how else to validate his prior education. Does anyone have any advice?

You could use for this scenario: 97 Other qualification, level not known

Thanks Martin. I tried that and it’s still pulling as “wrong” in PDSAT. I suppose I’ll just have to justify it if they pull it for audit.
