If a learner is enrolling onto an Apprenticeship Standard that has a mandatory qualification included that requires a professional membership for exam registrations can this be funded?
For example in the Commercial Procurement and Supply Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard this includes the Level 4 Procurement Diploma. The membership is required in order to book the exams for the learner and register for the course. In this circumstance can the membership be funded as it is also the registration number?
Is there any guidance or expectations on who should pay the fees for the Professional Membership where linked to mandatory qualifications? Is this the responsibility of the Employer or Training Provider?
