    Hi

    So what is everyone doing about this cohort of learners – with regards to main aim work experience hours – many of ours are now not being allowed to go to these employers – due to COVID 19.

    We can put apprentices on a break …. however that impacts our income …traineeships in current rules from what I can see cannot go on a break!

    ESFA please give us some guidance – we are an ITP. especially as it looks like the country will soon be going into complete lockdown.

    Hi Lisa,
    The funding rules are different for 16-18 study programmes and AEB/Apprenticeships and it depends under what contract and funding rules the traineeships are being delivered.
    For 16-18 study programme you just leave the aim open or withdraw as BIL are not applicable to this funding stream.
    For AEB/Apprenticeship contract delivery you may use a BIL.
