I’ve received an advert for a webinar training session on R04. It says that it’s the second most important return after R14. Now, I get why R14 is important, but am clueless as to why R04 is special and haven’t been able to find anything so far.
I’m still new at this – we’re doing apprenticeships for older learners only (no 16-18 year olds) at the moment and haven’t had anyone complete yet.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for where I should be looking to find out?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
R04 is the last opportunity to correct previous years Apprenticeship data with regard to QAR success rates but these are not being reported at a provider level this year due to Covid.

Yes, R04 is mainly a big one for Study Programmes.
Thanks Steve 🙂 I’ll make it a mission to find out more about this for next year, but thanks to you guys it sounds like I don’t need to add ‘panic’ to my to-do list for today…
Hi,
If you check the data collections timetable: http://assets.ctfassets.net/6h6ixebbpdwm/5ZqvZqReg73Qu3GfdhcWbr/1f3b5ebe03ab23cae6fb8fd5443f61d1/Appendix_A__Version_1__February_2020.pdf
This sets out in the Main data use row for the various funding models the reason of collection in each period.
