For an apprentice who withdraws before completing a learning aim, should I record an outcome grade (FL)?

From what I can gather, you could read the ILR spec to say that Outcome Grades are what is issued at the end of a learning aim, and if they didn’t complete then there are ungraded.

On the other hand, you could read it that if they started then they must have an outcome: in the case of either a withdrawal or a fail at completion this would be fail.

As no examination has taken place the Outcome Grade is not entered.
