    Hi Sue,

Thank you so much, I was not working with the correct version, I was unaware of the update to the software.

    My problem has been sorted.

    Hi Martin,

That would seem to be the best option logically, thank you for your advice.

Oh sorry, the original start date was 10/7/2019, not 2020. My mistake.

Thank you so much for that guidance.

Thank you Sue, that is very helpful. I believe a relative is trying to locate the original certificates back home in Hungary so once found they can be sent to NARIC.

Not sure if my earlier reply has been sent but your advice is much appreciated. I will check the system and exported report.

    Many thanks

    Hi Martin,

Many thanks, although I’m sorry as I’m still a little confused, the example is:

    Apprenticeship Start Date: 16/10/2019
Anticipated end date of practical period (training): 22/10/2020 (This is the PED entered on the ILR)
Estimated Planned End Date of Apprenticeship: 08/01/2021 (Would this be the date entered onto DAS)?

Would this not cause a data match error?

    Hi,

Can I please jump in on this post, I received the following response from the Service Desk regarding the Status and Outcome options for when a learner has completed their practical period and waiting for EPA:

Thank you for contacting the Service Desk

The completion element is now released when the learner passes through gateway and is recorded with completion status 2, the outcome should be recorded as “8” until the EPA has been completed and the outcome is confirmed.

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for your response, as always very helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

I have emailed the service desk to request further clarification, fingers crossed this will all start to make sense soon.

Thank you for both of these responses.

Interestingly, I submitted my initial feed to the Service Desk and they have said the following regarding my specific scenario:

Yes, the information you have supplied is the correct format for the completion period mentioned – there are no data errors in your latest submission.

I have therefore uploaded R01 without adding an “Achievement Date” for candidates where the practical period was been completed on or before the 31st July 2019 but the EPA has been achieved in August 2019. I have not got any errors on my data in doing this.

I’m so confused as the service desk has contradicted the guidance which Martin has quoted in his response above.

    Hi,

I have been getting the same error, I have raised this as an issue with the service desk and they have advised that it is an error their end.

They have opened an incident report and have said that they will get back to me ASAP.

It is incredibly frustrating seeing how close we are to the R01 submission deadline.

    Hi Martin,

Many thanks for confirming this information, I unfortunately did not know that this would be the case in that the new employer would not receive an initial employer incentive payment.

In your opinion in this scenario would you recommend that the re-start indicator be ticked along with the reduction in funding of which I have already applied against the programme? also, is it to make this sort of adjustment to data part-way through the programme? I understand that if I am to do this then I would need to have done it in either R13 or R14.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Martin,

Many thanks for confirming this so quickly, that was my fear.

Fortunately I only have around 150 candidates to update this on, I have no idea how providers with lots and lots of candidates cope with needing to update these fields?

    Kind Regards

Thanks Sue and Ruth for your replies back! I get so very confused around all of the rules and regulations!

Do either of you use the Learner Entry Tool? and if so, could you please provide some guidance on how to code a change of employer correctly?

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Martin,

Many thanks for your response. Please could I just check what the rules would be if the candidate has gone passed their Planned End Date as stated on the Apprenticeship Agreement?

    Thank you.

    Hi Martin,

Many thanks for your response and for clarifying this information.

Could you please confirm as to whether or not I need to record any reduction in funding on the ZPROG aim for a re-start?

    Thank you.
