Thanks Ruth… In terms of detail… What dates would you put into the ACT Financial Record?

Would you retain the original dates and DAS is clever enough to not recover those periods?

I presume we don’t force into the 18/19 year also as hard close has past?

    Thanks

    Thanks Martin

So we would change the price on the TNP even though the “From” date is in the last year?

For prior price changes the ILR mismatch process in DAS didnt work, the ESFA advised to tell the employer to stop the account and load a new cohort (Thats where I got that detail from)

    Thanks

    Hi

Does anyone know if the current 18/19 FIS will be able to amalgamate 19/20 (R01) files?

Just concerned as we need to join 3 datasets for R01 and with no FIS for 19/20 (and no expected release date) we may need an alternative solution in the interim

    Thanks

    Hi

It isnt the apprentice would be finishing early, they would be finishing after the current DAS end date…

So I am just wondering if we still get funds drawn post the DAS expected end?

    Thanks

    Hi

Thank you very much for the reply Martin.. Apologies I may not have explained myself very well in my query..

So where an Apprentice is completing a L2 Apprenticeship, and the requirement in that is to achieve “L1” Eng/Maths, and yes, as you say they are also required to work towards and sit the exam at L2…(pass or fail)

I was meant to say that as per the published list for L2 Apprenticeships, the min requirement presented of the Grade E (in maths for example) is acceptable, if held, as an exemption from having to complete Function Skills Maths for Level 2 Apprenticeship. Which in this case would be L1 Maths (as part of the overall L2 Apprenticeship) – Of course then also undertaking the L2 Maths..

I am just trying to confirm that the purpose of the published list is to essentially tell us which qualifications at a minimum level are providing exception from Maths/English depending on L2 or L3 Apprenticeships.

    Thanks again
    Chris

    Hi Martin

Just to clarify, the published list, where it states for L2 App, GCSE* – “Minimum acceptable grade” E or 2**

Is this saying that Grade E (in maths for example) is acceptable, if held, as an exemption from having to complete Function Skills Maths for Level 2 Apprenticeship

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi

I have been told by the ESFA in a similar instance the ESFA only pay the amount “over” 19,000?.. So if we claimed 19,100, they would only pay the 100?

    Is this not correct?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi

I have a similar situation where a BSL Interpreter is needed. The ELS I have been told by the ESFA team who look at these claims told me we can only claim for amount “over” 19,000.. So if we spent 19,100, ESFA would pay just £100…?
