We’re having a similar issue and we’re struggling to come to an answer. Our Apps Pay Monthly report doesn’t reconcile with the Monthly remittance statement. This is the first month that we’ve had this happen. Only for one line 19+ Levy paying Apprentices.

We’ve queried this with the ESFA Service Desk last week they’ve so far been unable to come to an answer. It does seem that other users here are having issues with the reconciliation of these two reports.

Out data-match report shows no errors, which is where we first assumed there would be an error (we have had a few in previous months however these were all resolved by last months return).

We had the same issue I contacted FISSS to discuss it with them. They said that it was best to run the report that doesn’t have the qualification number on. As it will always be rejected with a four digit qualification code. Apparently, it has something to do with two databases that have been badly merged.

The report they mentioned was going to the LRS, find the learner, once their page is up, click on ‘create report’. You just select the qualifications that you want to claim an exemption for, it then creates a Portrait A4 PDF with all the details on which apparently is accepted by ACE. Although we haven’t confirmed this yet. Seems odd to me, but we’ll see what happens.

We received our allocation statement on Friday. Unfortunately it doesn’t announce the Non Levy ITT out come. Still waiting on that.

We’re not offering any trailblazers, but as I understand it any money that isn’t directly received from the government is subject to VAT. So all employer contributions are subject. The guidance doesn’t offer much advice other then to approach an accountant for final advice. Although finding an accountant that is aware of the legal implications of government funding is tricky!

Hi adambetts I was wondering if you’d had an update on this. We also understood the caps can be be lifted for 16-18 apps.

Yes we’re received a similar letter. We’re running through the DSAT now trying to work out what we’ve missed.

We’ve found the hub is only accessible outside of working hours. It’s not been that convenient but we’ve been doing the upload later in the evening around seven. I’m surprised that the hub is so overwhelmed so early in the transmission period.
