Thanks Emma – had to change password but yes that works! Cheers!
I still cannot access The Hub – do we need to contact Help Desk for a password reset then?
The table here is a great help for queries like these:
If the student has got a B in Literature and D in Language it is:
Condition of funding met for English, no requirement to continue study of subject
And checking the student in the EFA Maths and English Report.csv from the FIS and/or Hub to check is always good.
Hope this helps.

Thanks – yes I’ve been doing the EAS on The Hub for the Excess LS and was just visiting the £150/month and why that wasn’t showing.
Literally just tested it on one student and it is now showing in the SFA Summary and no FIS errors. Thanks for replying and confirmation!
I think I have found it – you attach LSF Learning Support Funding to the enrolment.
Thanks for the response.
Yes I understand that one, I am struggling to work-out how ALS students are recorded.
Normally we just use the flag “Learner Support” and enter ALS cost and it calculates fine on the funding report. Now I get the FIS error and £0 Learning Support.
So are we saying that the £100,000+ figure on my SFA Summary Funding Report for 14/15 is no longer showing on 15/16 report? I’m confused! How is that Learning Support counted/funded now?
Great Mark – thanks! Can’t believe I missed that!
I’ve got the same problem.
Can anyone tell me what DD refers to from this?
Learners on active benefits (DD12=Y) or
Unemployed learners on other state benefits (DD21=Y) or
I can’t seem to find the fields in UNIT-e. We usually use BSI Benefit Status Indicator.
Thank you both! That does seem to be the problem.
Can’t thank you enough for timely and helpful responses as ever!
Thanks Martin – as helpful as ever! Appreciate the responses.
I’ve got a learner with a BSI as 3 but is marked as employed. The learner is showing up in the 15S-560 report and I assume this is because we have her recorded as being in employment?
Can a learner not be fully funded, in benefits and working part time?
Martin – as ever can’t thank you enough for your quick and helpful response!
Welcome to the forum. I just checked The Hub and it says:
R10 is planned to open on Wednesday 20 May 2015
Hope this helps and you have a good holiday!
Thank you both!
Hi Martin – I think it’s more likely me asking stupid questions!! 🙂
I suppose I am just trying to get my head around mandatory collection requirements so it’s not worth developing something for staff to record this in if it is not required.
Trouble is I am more of a data analysis/reporting person not the Student Record Manager but invariably because I am the person that runs/submits the ILR I get the “blame” if something is wrong.
So I do need to collect this for EFA as I understand it…
Thanks as ever!
OK many thanks both – I’ll check it out.
Many thanks to Martin and Steve for the responses!
Hi Darren – yes of course!
Thanks… I was having a Friday afternoon moment then. Appreciate your response so thank you!
Thanks very much!
Thanks for the response. Yes I saw that too and am confused. The handful of learners are down as doing 50112132. And when I run them through the FIS they do not error and in the CSV outputs they are showing funding values for on ‘OnProgPayment’.
Strangely others on the same course/qualification are listed as 50098184 which appear to be funding. I think it might be a case of changing those learners on the non-funding course to the correct learning aim. Will check with colleagues.
I think I have found the problem… no periodics for 14/15 have been created…
Thanks Martin – I tried this and still the learner does not appear in the ILR. Will do some checks…
Thanks both, I don’t know what to do with this.
I changed one learner from Z0003505 (wasn’t coming through in the ILR) to Z0002023 and still not showing…
Thanks Martin and apologies for late reply – I did this and literally have nothing when filtering on Adult Skills Funded EFA Model
