I am assuming the above calculation is correct as there are no responses!

So we do not take off holidays before doing the calculation

I have just done an employer change as above but from Non levy to Levy.
Everything went through fine with no errors so I did my batch upload to the hub.

I now have 2 lines for this learner on the data match report.
First line is for the Non levy employer – which I don’t understand
Second line is for the new Levy employer which is correct due to the council not doing their bit on their end.

Will both lines disappear when the new Levy Paying employer completes their end?

    Hi
It will be interesting to follow this thread as there seems to be more programme’s coming onto the market that are capable of incorporating ALL of the learner journey including Application right through to the Batch return. Some look very interesting!

If anyone is using MWS Aptem any feedback would also be appreciated

Does this apply across the board for ALL Apprenticeships.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but we are still doing H&S Appraisals with all our employers

    Hi Martin
Sorry should have said they are Small employers so would only pay if their learner was 19+.

Thank you for confirming it is the age at start of the Apprenticeship.

Please see the response below from the ESFA – Hot off the press!

    Hi Sue

Thank you for contacting the Service Desk

I have looked into your query regarding the employer query, if you do not have the documentation you would not be able to record the learner with employer “2”. This would not be applicable as the learner would not have an audit record to back up the ILR entry.

The learner would not be able to be placed on a break in learning as a break in learning must be able to be approved by the employer. The only option in this situation is for the learner to be changed to employer 3 if the supporting documentation is completed.

The main issue you will face is with the Employer incentive, if this triggers for employer 1 then for audit purposes and the unique situation of the learners journey then you will need to pay this to employer 1.

    Kind regards
    Keith

I am glad someone has had a response as I have nothing back yet from the ESFA!

The employers in question are Small, Non-Levy so it is our ILR entries that dictate the funding!

    Thank You everyone,
I have e mailed the helpdesk to get a direct response from the ESFA as I totally disagree that our Success rates should suffer just because a learner decides to change employer whilst continuing on the same programme of learning with the same provider.
I understand it has implications for the payments from Employers, their contracts etc but there should be some way for ITProviders’s to code this scenario which reflects the ACTUAL / TRUE situation and does not affect their statistics in a negative way.

I thought this was the case.

I am assuming most providers will want to charge the full amount allowed for each programme where possible so we need to have some idea about the EPA costings or we could end up paying some of the costs ourselves if we over charge on TPA1. Am I understanding this correctly?

Thank you so much Martin. Your help is invaluable.
Just about to put through a Learner with a programme change as well as an Employer change

    STL to CYPW (16-18)
Small Non Levy to large Levy
    £2000 Framework

    Wish me Luck

    Thanks Again

    Cap is 3000

    TPA1 2400
    TPA2 600

We have had 4 payments of £126.32
Does it matter that the learner was 19 when she changed Employer (18 on start of programme)

    Thanks Martin.

    Just one more quick question.

With Standards where the EPA is involved and learner is on programme for 19 months (Has also turned 19 before moving Employer) and we have had 4 months payments:
Would it be the same calculations (ignoring the EPA Cost)?

    3000.00 TNP1
    600.00 EPA
    2400.00 / 20% = 480

    2400 – 480 =1920/19 = 101.05 x 15 = 1515

    Hi Martin
Sorry that should have been £160 per month so £640 (according to the claims tab on Maytas)
    for payments already made

    Hi Martin,
Sorry if I seem a bit dense but I just fill in the ILR and do not usually get involved with the money, although with the new funding it is unavoidable!!

This learner was 18 at start and was 18 when changing employer. Both employers are Non Levy and Small. I am not sure what you mean about the 90% + 10%
And yes she is on A framework not Standard.
Could you please expand on this

    Hi,
So reading the above I have a Non Levy to Non Levy change of employer.

I have entered the new employer and the relevant start date.
I have not entered an additional line in the ACT section as there is no change (from 2)

Do I still have to calculate the funding remaining and enter this?

Scenario – (Both Employers Non Levy)
    TNP – £2000
Learner has had 4 payments with first employer (£360)

Do I now need to add another TNP for £1360 with the start date of when she started with the new employer??

    Hi
We are archiving out learner documentation at the moment but are not sure which programmes would have been co-invested with ESF funding.
We are Archiving 2009-2010 learners but we need to keep co -invested programme learners longer.
Could anyone shed some light on this please

    Kind Regards

    Hi Clare
I have just put on my first Traineeships using information from this string although I have used 50104172 for the placement qualification and 60146801 for the Core Aim, and have had no errors
Although I have no errors I cant find any funding on any of the reports on the Hub. Am I supposed to use Z codes or can I use the qualification number on the ILR.

Please help – it is Batch day 🙁
