Do I need to register?
You will need to register in order to contribute to discussions and make full use of the site’s functionality.
What do I do if I’ve lost my password?
Although your password cannot be retrieved it can be easily reset. If you login with the wrong password, you will be taken to the Log In page. Click on the ‘Lost your password?’ link. Follow the instructions to provide the e-mail address used to create the account, and a new password will be emailed to that email address within 15 minutes.
Alternatively, go to the ‘Register’ page via the ‘Sign Up Here’ link, and reset you password in the ‘Lost something?’ section on the right of the page.
You will be able to change the password provided next time you log in [see the section below ‘How do I change my password or other user profile settings?’]

I’ve registered but cannot login
First, check your username and password. If you cannot remember your user name or password, follow the procedure for lost passwords. The email you are sent confirms your user name and provides a new password. If you are still unable to login, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and the problem will be investigated.
How do I view my Profile?
You can view your profile settings by clicking on the ‘Profile’ link in the top right hand corner of the page.
How do I change my password or other user profile settings?
You can edit your profile settings by clicking on the ‘Profile’ link in the top right hand corner of the page, then click on your Profile’s ‘Edit’ link [next to your Profile Name]. You can change your password in the ‘Account’ section.
In the ‘Name’ section, you can change the ‘Display name publicly as’ option [this can be different to your login/username] to select how your name will be seen around the site.
The ‘Contact Info’ section allows you to add details about your job title, employer, Twitter accounts, etc, and you can add a short bio in the ‘About Yourself’ section.
Under the ‘Account’ section, you can change your Account Email [and change your password].
To save your new settings and changes, click the ‘Update Profile’ button in the ‘Update Profile’ section at the bottom of the page.
How do I show an image (avatar) in my profile?
Add or change your avatar in Profile’s Edit page in the ‘Profile Picture’ section.
Is my personal data secure?
The Skills Funding Agency will only use user data for the purposes of this website. User information is held on a secure server and the data will not be shared with any other organisations other than the information authority. Users have the option to sign up to mailing lists. If you opt to receive these emails then only the Skills Funding Agency will email you. User information will be used only to provide you with email updates on the topics you have requested. If you respond online to a consultation exercise your data will only be used to facilitate the analysis of responses.
